from tiller to remote steering '57 evinrude 18hp

I know nothing about what I need or how to do this. Could anyone give me guidance? I need a list of parts. I have a simplex box, but the rest I dont know what I need. I know that I need pre 79 cables, but the problem is the fitting and such that connect the cables to the motor. I also need some instruction on how to put it all together.

Go to http://shop.evinrude.com/ Click on "Electronic Parts Book", then select "OB Assessories" from the drop-down list where it defaults to "Evinrude" Then select 1972, as old as they go, but that is ok, the cables are the same. Follow the prompts to the remote control and it will show all the little do-dads required.
