My wife ran over a frisbee and apparently lodge in the intake. She ran the seadoo for a little while before it totally stop. Then the frisbee floated to the top. Towed the ski home, engine very hot. One of the clear hosees that attaches to the upper left coner of the engine was melted. I fixed that and try to start it. It would run for seconds before cutting off. This is a 1994 GTX.
What else do I need to do or look to get it back running?

Thanks
Greg

Re: Frisbee and a GTX

you may have damaged the top end like the rings and head o ring seals, I had a relative blow a 720 on me by overheating it and I had to rebuild the top end,, check the compression and when it is cold it should start on the trailer, then turn on the water and see if it starts to idle bad, if it idles bad with the water turned on you have water leaking in the cylinders

yep like Jeff said
check compression first, before you cause more problems
