At least that is what it seemed like at the dock. I was blessed with having my boat right in front of the stage
Music twit is at it again. To make matters worse, the rep from the marina was on the dock. She told him it was at a decent level. Oh for sure, she was on a boat 3 slips down and on the same side with the twit. Then when she spotted a ranger making its rounds, she jumps off the boat she was on and ran to the twits boat to turn it down. I know other dock mates were just as PO'd as I was.
Saturday morning, I turned my boat around so the bow is towards the dock. I don't like this as it is a sign of turning my back on everyone. However, the view is better, fishing is better, and most of all it is quieter! Mr. Twit voiced his opinion he has a right to play music, but I held my ground and got back into his face about it having to be at a reasonable volume.A few others heard the conversation. Later on a few of the dock mates told me I did a good job standing up to him.
Late Saturday afternoon, he noticed I was mounting a 500 watt quartz flood light on the front of my bridge. He asked me what it is for. I told him that since he was wanting to have a concert at night that I thought I would give him some light. He found out later what I meant.
I don't know if it was the bugs that was drawn to the light, or his loud arse friends can't stand bright lights? I found it ironic when he asked me to shut it off and I replied "Huh, thats funny, I remember asking you the same thing about turning your volume down". Turn it down and the light will go off. Turn it back up and I'll turn the light back on.....
Now he is trying to get a spot closer to his friends at the far end of the dock
Thanks to the thread about the neighbors with the bright lights is what gave me the idea to use them to fight back......Just have to wait and see how next weekend goes........Dock Rat out!....
