i was going to do my own floor replacement in my 87 sea ray ,but decided to let the local repair shop do it ,anyhow we got to be friends ,so on my free time i go up there and help him out on other boats ,because i,m a good wrench, what i learned there in two months ,but the most important thing i learned about boats is that a little thing like a seal in the lower unit can turn into gears ,shafts and more .and the crack blocks that have came in there in the last three weeks ,just because people don,t want to spend 100.to get there boat ready for winter.i would rather spend 100. instead of 3000 to 5000 for a engine ,i can go on and on but what i like about this shop is that no corners are cut what so ever.. well i just wanted gave my input .oh yea we traded labor ,he worked on my boat and i sided his house and i don,t cut corners too. :)
