Go to any tugboat dock and you will see a hill of used,ugly,parted dacron line.You will see line of sizes from 3" to 10" diameter.Lengths range from 25' to 125'. Just peel away the exterior and you'll find creamy white,soft,new dacron.Any knot book should show you how to splice any size or shape fender. The tugboat companies I've worked for where happy that you took there *trash*.Dacron strands also make great hammocks<br />!!
