Four Winns 318 Accessing port fuel sending unit

Hey all, I am a new member to this forum. I am hoping someone can help with some guidance. I am trying to get access to my port fuel sending unit on a 2007 Four Winns 318 Vista. My gas gauge is not working and I am trying to diagnose the issue. I removed the fridge under the top side sink where there is a small (10"X10") access panel. I removed the panel hoping to access the sending unit but there is no way to get at it from that panel. Has anyone replaced a port fuel sending unit. If so how were you able to access?
