Fort Pierce to Fort Lauderdale on the ICW? suggestions please

We are planning to run a 26' Twin Vee from Fort Pierce to Fort Lauderdale on the ICW. Any suggestions on where to stop for lunch or dinner or fuel?

Is this a new boat your buying in Ft. Pierce?

I'm 15 miles south of Ft. Pierce. Where is your first stop planned at? Palm Beach?

I say do it right the first time out. Stop in St. Augustine for a long weekend, then to Daytona for an overnighter. Maybe New Smyrna after that, then off to Ft. Pierce three days later...
