Chris's video is excellent.... good demonstration of placing the drive in fwd and how to make sure you "lock" the propeller (turn the prop in reverse, or CCW til it locks...) Note, he is demonstrating on a GenII. Sounds like you may have an earlier drive. If you havent dropped the lower yet, the procedure is essentially the same, making sure you turn the shifter shaft "shoe" clockwise, while turning the prop CCW. If you have already split the drive, you need to turn your lower shift shaft CW while turning the prop CCW to lock in fwd, then bolt the lower to the upper, making sure your intermediate shift shaft is pointing straight fwd when it engages the splines of the lower shift shaft. (Sound right, Chris?)... Not too difficult, but gotta keep the prop from turning or it will pop out of fwd. HTH, KTB

I added one word up there... but essentially, spot on...
