1988 Force 50hp. I just bought the motor and I am have problems with it cooling. Overheats at idle. Re: the cooling system, the impeller works, the pump works, and the water jacket around the powerhead is clear, but there is blockage [I think] from the lower unit up to the powerhead. I tried blowing air from the powerhead back down to the lower unit without luck (perhaps a baffle blocks this reverse track?).<br />Any assessment of the problem, or how to clear the blockage. Maybe it is not blockage and I have another problem? Thanks in advance.
