Force 3HP What's its age

I have a late model Force 3HP single cyclinder<br />s/n 00001139 frost plug number 00139. Our local boat shop can't or won't help. Does anyone know how I can find it's age<br /><br />Frustrated

Hi Sloopy, It's a 3hp alright and a Force, apparently its the same as a Mercury 3.2? and the Johnson/Evinrude just badged to the brand. Does this help.

One thing I forgot to add. It's a fixed shaft as in no gears just spin the motor round to go backwards.<br /><br />cheers <br />snapperman

evinrude JOnson would never do that... Are you going to sell it? I will buy it? maybe someone was playing a JOKE!!! I will buy it from you for $50 I am stocking up on small motors for the winter so I can redue them.
