Force 1996 75 hp start but quit in the water

I have a 1996 force 75 hp. 3 cylinders, one carb.

The engine start on the hose but it dont it wont stay on in the water(sea,lake).

That say i have clean the carburator(super clean), change the filter in line, refuel and treat the gas in the fuel tank. I check the voltage regulator and it was giving me bad readings so i change it. I replace the spark plugs also. Im out of things to check any ideas

Welcome to iboats.

Appears you are not firing on all 3 cylinders.

You need to check for spark on all 3 plugs.

Then you need to check compression on all 3 cylinders.

I check the spark and is good in all cylinders.compression is good too.

Could any one give me the specs of stator and trigger and how to check them. Please
