Force 150; the battery does not load

Hello,
I come from germany; my english is not so well. But I will try to explain my problem. I have a 150 Force (latest model). Since 3 hours my battery does not load. The engine is running fully normally, but the voltage meter goes down, when the rpm goes up. When I run full speed, the voltage meter shoes only 9 Volts. Normally it shoes then circa 14 Volts. Is it only a problem of the voltage regulator or of the stator or the Power pack? I hope it is only the voltage regulator.

Welcome to iboats.

It's probably the voltage regulator. It could be the stator, but not the power pack. The stator is easy to test. Check for continuity between the yellow wires. Neither should be shorted to ground. If there is no continuity between the yellows, replace the stator. If there is, replace the voltage regulator.

Hello,

a few days ago I would install the new voltage regulator. But I don't have to do this. The old one is ok.
I guess it was a temperature problem because it was very hot in germany few weeks ago. Now it is cold and rainy weather and the regulator makes no problem.

finally I installed the new voltage regulator because the old one made again problems when the weather was hot. Now the Force 150 runs without any problem.
