Hi folks I'm still learning, however, I'm trying to figure out the best setting for the air/fuel screws on the carbs. Is there a good starting reference point that I can use (i.e. screw turned all the way in/out) and then "xx" turns in/out?

Thank you!!!

Re: Force 125hp carb settings help

I just tried to set mine and am wondering the same thing. There doesnt seem to be a real definite point for the counter clockwise (rich) setting, so I just sorta guessed.

Re: Force 125hp carb settings help

SETTING THE LOW SPEED CARB SCREWS RUN ENGINE UNTIL IT REACHES NORMAL TEMP.RAISE IDLE TO AROUND 900 RPM. TURN LOW SPEED SCREW CLOCKWISE UNTIL ENGINE START TO LOOSE RPM THEN OPEN COUNTERCLOCKWISE UNTIL HIGHEST RPM IS REACHED THEN A 1/8 MORE IT MAY RUN A LITTLE RICH BUT BETTER THAN TOO LEAN .THEN AFTER AJUSTMENT ARE MADE TO ALL CARBS RETURN IDLE SPEED TO AROUND 800-850 RPM THAT IT.
