Force 125 minor issue

Finally got the engine to idles good. I have a slight backfire or misfire through
the exhaust above the prop. Also the lower carb bowl seems to be overfull. I thinkmy base idle is a tad to high, not sure about the carb issue. Any one had this happen.

Get the floats set right, then set idle rpm. I set the idle mix in gear in the water, but search here and the manual procedure is posted. Then reset idle rpm and see how it runs. I assume you cleaned the carbs.

I cleaned the carbs, replaced both bowl gaskets, set the idle cam. I am going to replace the plugs tonite, check the float on the lower carb, reset the idle mix screws (should it be in gear?) and take her out.

by all means fix the lower carb, as that's a fire hazard.Set idle in gear in the water[ puts load on motor]. Post your results. MOPARMAN
