Force 120 Buzzer sound

I was reading somewhere that 97 Force 120 should do some buzzer sound on startup is this true? I dont hear any sound at all. I checked under the dash and there are two buzzers. one of them hooks up to the deepth sounder but I dont know what the other one does. I am assuming its the buzzer for the engine but I dont hear any sound from it at all. Is this normal?

It's most likely an overheat buzzer and will only make noise when you overheat.

The Mercurys and OMC's Yams all have warning buzzers that sound on startup.
Force doesn't.But test yours.Turn the key on and go back to the motor and ground out the ORANGE wire at the terninal block.
It shoud buzz.If not then the buzzer might be bad.J
