Trent thanks for al your help on my previous messages.<br />I just want to tell you that finally I found out that the engine is Mariner 75HP ELPTO model 1991. I called the Mariner office in Belgium and they told me right away. The s.n. I had it was european number.<br />So what you can tell me now about this engine. What is the good and bad about this engine??<br />Thanks again.

stemar..<br /><br />I personally have never had any problems with them.<br /><br />Just do your normal inspections/maintainence. Replace the impeller every two to three years. Drain and replace gear lube every year and replace sparkplugs every year. And get yourself a manual for it..Worth every penny and it can save you time and money.
