Which heads are preferable??They are on Ebay Dhadley. I want the carbs and throttle body. I'm having problems with mine again with sneezing out the exhaust and I've done everything. I can pull the sparkplug wire on #3 and it stops sneezing. Resealed the block ,Overhauled all the carbs, replaced the recirculation valves to no avail. I'm basically grasping at straws now.
If you use the small bore heads you'll have to run hi test fuel but it will make more power.<br /><br />OK, as for the lean popping thats good youve isolated it to #3. Remember, the lower carb on the starboard side isnt for #3. The front of the looper is an "X" design. The lower port carb is for the lower starboard cylinder. The most common place for an air leak on those carbs is on the side plate. Have you messed with that at all?
