Cool video! Nothing like a dog to make you glad you came home (no offense to the Admiral, but she doesn't get quite that excited when I show up). And even better to see a welcome home after a tour over in the fracas. Thanks for posting.

Truth told though, Labs and Goldens are so crazy loyal that mine'll about go that nuts when I come in from getting the mail. :D

That's the thing, it's my understanding that dogs have no concept of time. 6 days, 6 months, it's all the same to them. When we keeneled our dog for couple days it would go bonkers when we showed up to get her. Didn't fix the typo, would have to delete everything to fix it.

Labs are loyal. They stumble over themselves trying to please their owners. But that's ok...... Good vid......

yup.. I just witnessed an almost identical thing in real life.. My renter got her brothers dog bout 6 months ago when he went out west.. He came back two days ago for a visit, and the 12year old choc lab/hound cross just could not contain himself.. went totally stupid and pretty much mauled him  He left again today, and the dog is visibly quite sad and depressed now..

When I got home from Vietnam, my dog acted similarly - yelping as though crying....
Dogs are great.:D

... and by saying that it's common for labs and goldens, I don't wanna' diminish this guy's homecoming at all. It's a good heroes welcome probably well deserved.
