I just received a "Follow Request" in my messages. Anyone know what that is?

I think in the social media bent of the new format, I can 'follow' you, so that rather then Topic notifications, I get a notification that you'd posted. I think that's what the Subscriber's list is under your profile, your followers.

Check your subscriber list, Jas 'subscribed' today at 7:13p.....

Are you a Charles Manson/Joe Carroll kind of leader or more of Gandhi kind of leader:

James Tiberius perhaps:

I don't think I've subscribed or followed anyone yet... So lets give that a whirl shall we.....

Joe Carrol!? He's fictional, but the baddest of the bunch. I know who he is, and that series was riveting!

The subscriptions currently in my profile are my "old" friends. Jas was My first friend from long ago. Follow is turning us into Facebook, I think. I'm going to accept your follow to see what happens for experimentation.

You popped up in my subscriptions, JB. So we are now friends in the old terminology. I guess.

We hang out, talk about boats but can be quite chatty about pretty much anything, so I guess the forum is 'social media'.......

Thanks for 'friending' me :thumb:

PS: I promise to keep any covert unflattering spring break pix of you off your wall.... :photo:

I hope we don't have a wall. I don't even like the like button.

No idea if we do or not, I only know there's a 'wall' somewhere for something or another, else the 3 old ladies Geico commercial wouldn't be so funny :watermelon:

Yeah, I try to avoid that stuff. I made a point of never "Liking" anything until my nephew put up a Facebook page for his carpet store. I really like my nephew so, after lengthy soul-searching, I "liked" his store page. But that's the only one. You do what you have to for family.

You mean he only has one "Like"? Small business can use all the help it can get. That's worthy of a like in itself.

Hah! No, I mean it's the only time I've ever clicked the "like" button for anything. Big family, lots of friends, he got plenty of likes.
