Hello folks, Wife and I spent the weekend on our new pontoon boat and had a great time. We looked at each other and said...what took us so long....lol. Anyway, I want to put a table on the boat to make sandwiches...maybe put a grill for cooking, etc. but I don't want to add any holes in the decking (I am very clumsy with my feet) so I am looking to add a folding leaf type table to my center left door. (I have the front, back and center left doors) My goal is when not in use I can still use the door, but when needed I just fold out the table. My question is...has any one done\seen this type of table for a pontoon boat? Where can I purchase it? Thanks for the help.

Ikea has something like it..but I want it in plastic...

Re: Folding table for Pontoon

have not seen one of those but if you don't need a large table it should work just fine, have you tried great lakes skipper.
when I redid my 24 footer I know I was going to need a bigger table, as I was putting the back L shaped seat layout back in I left a 3" gap between the back seats and the back bulkhead. this only moved the 5 seats in that L shaped floor plan ahead 3"s and left me a nice place to put a 5' by 2 1/2" poly folding table (those wight ones you can get most anyplace) lots of room to dine on and when we are not using it you would not know that there is a table on the boat.

buy a piece of starboard, a couple of alunimum piano hinges and go to it. i have fishing chair in the bow of my boat, we take them out, and have a small folding picnic table we put there.

i also was thinking of getting one of the 2ft x 4ft plastic tables with the folding legs. the height is adjustable and if i find it not sturdy enough i was going to figure a way to attach a 6" wide piece of 1/8 alum plate to the bottom of the legs to give a bigger foot print.then when not in sue just stow next to the side bungi cord or what ever type of bracket i might make
