Fold Up Trailer Jack not tall enough

I have a 2004 210 Campione Ebbtide. I had to buy a new trailer for it as the boat was docked when I purchased it. One of the things I am noticing is that when I have the jack as far as it will go, I still have to lift the trailer to get on my hitch. Since this is a heavy boat (over 3K pounds) I usually need help. Is there anything out there that can help with this situation? I was thinking about something it could roll up on to give it a couple of inches. Can I buy a bigger trailer jack (are they easy to install)? Thanks in advance for your help.

I had a similar problem since my boat is parked in the driveway, which has a slight slope toward the street. I bought a floor jack at Harbor Freight to lift the trailer tongue, then I put the trailer jack down, then lower the floor jack and (if aligned correctly) the hitch goes down onto the ball. Have to do the reverse when I get home and want to un-hitch the trailer. Good luck.

You should be able to find a jack with a taller crank up height and no for the most part its a easy change out unless its some sort of a special jack made just to fit that trailer. You should be able to find one here at iboats.

let the air out of your rear tires, hook up, then pump the tires back up with a bicycle pump.

Or set it on a block of wood.

Or spend $35 to get the right jack.

Or build a frame and hook up a chain fall hoist to lift the trailer.

Whichever is easier.

If you can't lift it to the hitch, then you probably aren't able to store it with the bow up for drainage. I replaced my jack with this, "Bolt-On Drop Leg Trailer Jack, 2500lbs. by FULTON #HD2500-0101" google it.

It has a 30" lifting height and is built very strong. Prices very and it isn't cheap but will do the job and out last your trailer and no cement block, floor jack, or back strain needed and it goes with you where ever the trailer goes.

Most common jacks will lift well over 20 inches.
That should have the bow well up in the air.
When towing, the trailer should be nearly level.
If the hitch can not get over the ball in the full up position perhaps the problem is the ball needs to be lowered instead of the tongue raised.

What is the Drop/Rise of your Draw Bar?
And the height of the Receiver?

I fought this for a long time with a much heavier boat. I use to set the jack wheel on a 6x6 block to make the boat drain good, now I can just use the jack, sewwwwweeetttttt!!!:) Get one of these and you will be really REALLY happy.:)
They carry different sizes, I got the one with the most tongue weight, it is great to know the wheel jack isn't going to break in half when I have her jacked up tall.

The before jck sitting neext to the new jack. the wheel is also huge for good weight displacement.

You can see here, the old jack was being crushed because it was a cheap pos.
