Fogging input leak

'97 J150EXEUE Johnson. The Schrader valve that is provided for connecting the fogging oil when storing the engine has a substantial leak of fogging oil where the fitting enters the housing. This fitting has a red lever on it's body that allows the fitting to be rotated about 1/2 turn. I don't know the purpose of this lever but the leak is between this lever and the point the fitting enters the body. How should this leak be fixed? (The engine is running at idle during this procedure.)

Bombardier sells a replacement service kit for the Schrader valve assy. See your local Bombardier dealer and ask for part #175158. Sells for around $8.
