Fogging Engine (f90 efi)

Hi, I'm just wondering if people fog their 4 stroke outboard for winter. I've been seeing videos where people run gas mixed with 2 stroke oil thru the motor until it smokes. Is this the standard pracrice?

Yes that is best way., Remember to change oil/filter when you dewinterize.

And just to certain, there is no water to drain out of anywhere, right? Freezing temps won't do any harm?

Most outboards drain themselves.----If in normal running position .----If the passageways are not plugged by silt / seaweed.-----Make sure drain holes on gearcase are clear too.

I always drain the fuel coolers..seen 4 or 5 freeze and split

I didn't even know there were fuel coolers on an outboard. This is my first outboard and I know I still have a lot to learn, thanks.
