Flywheel Rotation

Hello All,

I have dumb newbie question.

While re-installing the LU, I read that you may need to rotate the flywheel manually a bit in order to realign the drive shaft into the crank of the engine (while in natural and having a second person helping).

My question is which way do you rotate the flywheel? Clockwise or counter clockwise? Does it matter?

my flywheel rotates clockwise when i start it.
that is all i can tell u.
i tihnk either way will turn the cylinders

it doesn't matter which way you turn the flywheel. You wil only need to turn it a few inches at most.
