Flywheel magnet scratches

Just curious how concerned I should be about scrapes that maladjusted coils made? How pristine should surfaces be?

I don't see an issue. Check the magnets while there (dangle a screwdriver blade and see if the magnet grabs it).

IMO They should still work. Did you take care of the miss-adjustment ??

Yep... all of the above. Magnets don't need to look pretty. They're either a magnet or they aren't. Unless the scratch area protrudes enough to touch something, you're good to go!

That is correct !---Only has / needs one set of magnets to make the wonderful and universal magneto work.----Magnets sweep by one coil to fire one cylinder and the at 180 degrees sweep by the oher coil to fire it.
