i've got a flywheel #580859 looking for application. was on an late 60'early 70's 18hp, that i parted out. but cannot find the proper application.

MarineEngine.com says they will send you one for $131.25 but does NOT specify application as far as I can tell. Sorry!

580859 does not appear in the Evinrude Common Parts Book up through 1976, or the Johnson book up through '78.

It is not listed in the 1965 Master Price Book either.

ishopmarine shows it as a flywheel, nla.

Yeah, I saw that. There must be some superceding numbers somewhere along the line..

If it's any help, these are what's in the Evinrude Quick reference:

580866 18hp 1957-71, 25hp 1969-72
581062 18hp 1972
581108 18hp 1973
581565 25hp 1973-76

That's all I know.
