I have a 1985 mercury 35 hp. It has electric and pull start. When i try to start it using the electric start the starter does t turn the flywheel.if i use the pull start i can bearly pull the cord.i took off the plugs and it doesnt get any easier to pull.i put it in gear Nd neutral and its the same thing.normally when its in gear it shouldnt turn at all. I just installed the flywheel with electric start.
