mornin' Yamahaboy,<br /><br />i think that you'll find that "lefty-loosey, righty-tighty" applies.<br /><br />As to the nut, i use an old belt and a 2x4 as a strap or pipe wrench around the base of the fly-wheel. Then a long ratchet and socket on the flywheel nut. <br /><br />Might try ssomw WD-40 or penetrating oil on the nut. let it soak for a while. Then maybe, while holding the flywheel with the strap wrench, tap the ratchet with a hammer.<br /><br />Word of warning. the nut is the easy part. You'll want to get a gear-puller or flywheel puller to get the flywheel off. You can get a pretty decent one at about any auto parts store for about $15.00<br /><br />Good Luck<br />HAVE FUN!
