Fly wheel puller?? Bolts.

Hello.
What bolts and size bolts are used for the flywheel puller for a:
Johnson ocean runner 1997 225 hp.
The nut is out but I need to use a flywheel puller but I do not have the bolts needed to bolt to Flywheel. I know that is "grade 9" but do not know what size to use.

5/16s 24 thread per inch. AKA (5/16s fine thread).

They are Grade 8 bolts

Also, when replacing the nut, I need to torque it. What torque amount?

105 foot pounds

They are Grade 8 bolts

+1. Be sure to use GRADE 8 bolts.

Thank you. Using the correct G8 bolts and G* washers.
Well, removed the nut from the flywheel but cannot pull the flywheel out. I used all lubricants "blaster" ect. Used a flywheel puller and torque til I could not torque any longer but it will not released the flywheel. Finally, broke the puller ( bent)
Put the nut back and waiting to make a decision on what to do next.

Hi raulito. While flywheels can be stubborn, I've never hear of one bending the puller itself. If you have access to an impact driver that should do the trick. Otherwise, you'll have to be patient and gradually torque the flywheel down. Hopefully, the previous owner didn't put any loctite, or similar product on the cam shaft. The key is to be patient and persistent. It's not uncommon for them to sit under tension for a few days, before they pop free. Do you have any pics?
