We've been watching the Weather Channel coverage of Debby. Doesn't look too good, definately no boating in Florida today. Wish you could send some of that rain up our way.

Here in South Florida, we're just getting a lot of rain. I did go batten down the boat yesterday just in case it took an unexpected turn to the east. At least its not a hurricane, and at least Lake Okeechobee is getting rain (needs it).

We have been getting hammered on all weekend in the Tampa Bay Area.
I rebuilt me carbs but can't get them back on the motor, the back yard is flooding...

Doing ok here in the Tallahassee highlands. Mostly just a lot of heavy drizzle. We needed the rain though. Glad I made it out on the water yesterday. Y'all stay dry.

Hi Deck,

thanks for asking. I live in the west central part of the state just east of Inverness. It has been raining all day ( we need it ) and the winds started picking up just a little bit ago. Nothing major so far but some pretty good gusts. Looking at the radar it appears the heavier stuff will be here soon.

Rain, rain, and more rain here in central Florida. I've introduced my husband to the entire Bourne trilogy and Minority Report today (don't ask... I was shocked myself that he'd never seen them). Needless to say, we (me) are bored off our butts. As much as I hate the place I am near the point of going to Walmart just to get out of the house.

I know... I was shocked as well. Worse... he had only seen Mission Impossible 3 up until this morning (some retired military guy he is... kidding). I fixed that! As for Wally World, it takes a special kind of boredom for me to step foot in that place and I've hit it. I'm ready for the rain to stop... seems like we have not had rain maybe only a few days this month. The horses are looking too rested and the boat is stuck on the carport. I'm waiting to catch the hubby out there sitting in it making vroom vroom noises. Might have to take the co pilots chair with a beer in hand

We got about 15 inches of rain since Sat. Not a real big deal. We look like another 10 maybe more Monday. But this is Fl and its not that unusual. This thing may hit 80 mph. That's nothing to get out of bed for. The rain is mostly on the coast. Yes there will be some areas that NEVER should have been built on but now once in 20 years we get hammered and they are going to loose their homes with no flood insurance.

He has everyday off... medically retired from the Army March 27th of this year.

And the alert just came over my phone. We are now under a tornado watch until 5am. It's always at night it seems :-/
