Are using your side rails that fit across your at least three of your boards?

i have no side rails, the boat is around 10 years old. you just put the boards in before you inflate it but it seems to be a very tight fit, and they start lifting soon as they are fitted

Most have "side joiners" which are pieces of channel that cradle the boards on the side and prevent them from flexing. There were some models that were sold without them....Unfortunately.

You can make your own side joiners use some strips off any rubber material about 1/2" thick and glue it on top off the wood to the boat walls use some good glue for your boat type put some weight on the floor while you do it so the floor stay down until the glue cure

You are missing the Side Joiners. All brands side joiners are the same type, borrow one and have it duplicated at a carpentry shop. Gluing stripes of rubber on top of boards won't give sib floor rigidity, as you need the side joiners to secure boards from poping up and to compensate lateral boards play by tighting joiners/boards against side tubes. This is what you need. If you habe a 5 wooden floor sib, place joiners in middle 3, as this pic is from a 4 board floor sib.

Is this the current side joiner & floor your sib has ? If so, a very strange one, first time in my life seing one of that type. If you have problems with floor popping out, you should inflate your sib to 3.0/3.5 PSI on all air chambers, must use a manometer for a correct reading, using finger touch is no good as you won't know how hard tubes becomes once correctly inflated to their working pressure, so to compare.

Is it possible to post a pic taken from transom towards bow to see full sib interior ?
