Hey guys, So I have a 2002 Four Winns Freedom 170 and took it out about this time last year. I left the plug in it while on the trailer and the boat flooded due to rain. I caught it about a week later and immediately pulled the plug. However I have been away for awhile and am now trying to sell it because I have no use for it anymore. The battery was dead and required a jump start last time I took it out. After draining the water out I noticed water in the oil and drained it out. How bad of shape is my boat in and how should I go about selling it?

If you never ran it with the water in the oil, do an oil change and new oil filter, put a new battery in it and run it for a bit. It's probably fine. As far as selling it goes, it's probably not even worth bringing up.

If it sat for any length of time with the water in the crank case, it may be a serious issue
