Does it have a drive through window? Or should I say a "boat" through window?

If I'm not mistaken, somewhere in the mid western states there is a McDonalds that actually is sitting over top the interstate road. You can stop on either side and go up a stairs or probably an elevator and eat on top of the highway. I don't exactly remember where it is anymore. But I do remember driving underneath when on a government TDY trip back some years ago...

There is a couple of local restaurants that have floating set ups they run in the summer on Flathead Lake, they do quite a good business.

Here is the one I was talking about. The "World's Largest McDonalds." This is near Vinita, Oklahoma, and is supposed to be the halfway point between Tulsa and Joplin on I-44.

yeah I've stopped there a few times. Really nothing too impressive other than it spans the highway.

You can see the Mcbarge moored from across the bay, kind of weird looking.

I can second the Finger Lakes comment too. With more bodies of water had that sort of thing. I go to Curtins Warf near Bristol on the Delaware a few times a season. Nice place.

That would be a mob scene if that existed in Jersey. Neat concept especially for the 80s.
