I recently bought a 14' aluminum v hull and while replacing the wood covering the seats I noticed that two out of the three seats had no foam in the cavity beneath them.It looks like someone made this into storage. Is there supposed to be foam in all of them? Where can you get some marine foam, or is there somewhere it can be injected in those areas. It is a 1970 "Texas Maid".

Or you can go the local building supply and cut pieces of insulating foam to fit.

It may be that filling only one or two of them satisfied the minimum requirements. But too much is way better than barely enough. :)

Re: Floatation missing

Thanks for the help. I found a place that sells the 2 part foam 2 gallons for $72. I will probably fill all the cavities. Better safe than sorry!
