Most floats pivot up and down on a small stainless steel pin, which you may be able to slide out from one side. there may also be a small retaining screw to remove. Not knowing anything about your motor/carb makes it kinda tough to be dead sure. Good Luck!

hi robert it is a 1987 85 force 856X7B, there is a steel pin sliding between the spring, how to do i get that out?????

It should have a knurled end (kind of like the business end of a drive shaft, but smaller and the indents aren't as deep). Use some needle nose pliers and pull from the knurled end straight out. The pin should come out fairly easily. If you pull from the other end you could ruin the carb housing. Good luck...

Tap the float pin out with a pointy object and pull it out it will all come apart.
