float level question

[1999 Searay 180BR]

1999 Mercruiser 3.0L, got the idle speed problem solved, but still hard to start when warm. Pulled the flame arrestor off and while idling gas is dripping from the jet nearest the back of boat. I installed a new carb kit last year, but unfortunately didn't get to run it much afterwards.I'm thinking maybe the float level is off...would this cause gas to drip out of only one of the jets or am I overlooking the obvious? I fit is float related what should it be set at, since I lost the instructions and if gas is dripping do I raise or lower the float...Thanks
