Hi all!

So, I don't know if you can help me at all, but I have been trying in vain to find some information on the boat I have just bought. It is an Arrowman 140, and there is effectively no information on the internet as to when these were built and any specs. The only thing I can find about it is one other forum where someone is asking similar questions. So I thought I'd put it to you guys and all your knowledge.

I will attach some pics at the end.

The more information we can find the better, and any images or documentation, even better!

This magazine article doesn't have any mention of the Arrowman.

And the rest are of my boat.

Also:
Please look at the Fletcher logo on the side. I have only ever seen one other with that style logo (moulded plastic word "Fletcher" with an arrow insignia running behind/through it). The guy who had that boat said his was a prototype/preproduction model. Could this be correct, or was he just pulling my leg!

And just because they are so similar, here it is with my cousin's Arrowflyte. Could one have evolved from the other?

I hope you all enjoy the pictures, and thanks in advance for any help and information that we can pool together on this elusive boat!

That's THESE GUYS though, right? Still in business, I think. Might be worth giving them a ring.

Welcome aboard.

Hi there
Great wee boats and still loads of them around. Fletcher were out of business then back for a while and now finished again. There is still plenty of support for them here though. Loads of info, which I'll look up after this.
The reason you can't find any details is that the boats pictured are Fletcher arrowflytes 14. The most popular of the range.
The red one is likely late 70's or early 80's at most and the right off white one is a later model probably mid 80's.
I've had a few fletchers (so have most over here). Such great wee boats. The best of which is likely the arrowbeau or arrow 199 monsters...both capable of 70/80mph with a big v6 on the back. Some of my posts videos are filmed from one.
They hold strong money over here.
The most popular run of them are late 80's and mid 90's black max models which usually came with Merc outboard.
The Ines you have (especially the red one) are getting rare and are now being restored by enthusiasts over here.

I think the arrowman turned into the arrowflyte. Be very rare, I'd imagine.
They will both be 14ft. There was a larger 15 foot, but this was the Arrowsport.
These usually have 50-70hp on them over here, but I have seen them flying with a 90 Merc tower of power on them !

If you go onto the uk eBay...there will be a ton of stuff for them too...perhaps not for the older model though.
The earlier model would originally have had a "v" shape (almost a v) decal with the Fletcher logo in it, the latter usually had the long arrow and feather decals. More recently they changed to just the Fletcher writing along the side.
