Re: Flatlining

Round these parts it is trolling a crankbait W A Y behind the boat so as to keep the lure away from the noise and commotion of the boat. When done with a s-motion throwed in the trolling pattern it drags the lure out over water that has not been disrupted by the boat thereby triggering otherwise skittish fish.

Re: Flatlining

yea neumans pretty much said it - just trolling w/o the aid of added hardware ( divers, planner boards, downriggers, snap weights, bottom bouncers.. etc.,.)

- rod
- line
- bait
- possibly some weight added to the line

..either that -or- having no pulse.. :p
