flat gap spark plugs

i was wondering if ther is any advantages on an old motor (67 fastwin 18)in using j4j quivelant in flat gap spark plugs or can flat gaps only be used on cd ignition

J4C gapped at .030 should be the correct plug.

I doubt you'd get the magneto ignition system to jump the gap on a surface gap plug. Not under compression anyway.

If it does fire, you'll burn the points rather quickly. Those are used on motors with electronic ignition. There are also no surface gap sparkplugs in the short "J" thread reach anyhow.
