During the 60's and early 70's there was a product on the market called (I believe) Kuetts Special Flashers. It was a string of flashers, cowbells trollers whatever you call them. I always knew them as a string of flashers. They were about 48" long with silver 5 silver blades behind the rudder blade. The blades were of deminishing size and each was pear shaped.

Does anyone remember these or a possible source for them.

Thanks for your help!

You can find them at Cabelas on line type in dodgers and flashers in the search window.

We use to use one called Dave Davis with lead line for trout. Then DO work well.

On Lake Ontario, we know them as "cowbells." Just about anyplace that sells Lake Trout tackle should carry them.

On Lake Huron or Lake Michigan we call 'em dodger or cowbells and if you run a couple they bring in the big trout/salmon since they resemble a school of baitfish. Prone to tangles though...especially if you don't remove them at the snap swivel and let them blow in the wind on the way back to the dock.:D
