2nd time out on the water I had to pump the bulb to keep fuel to the engine. Changed fuel filter, checked fuel pump, fixed air leak, changed fuel bulb, removed 30 gallons of bad gas and refilled tank. Went back out on the water and engine briefly ran better and then bulb collapsed. Today I'm replacing the fuel lines and putting on another new filter. Also pulling the fuel intake tube. OK now the question. Years ago I had a radiator hose separate internally and the inner liner would collapse causing the vehicle to overheat. Hard problem to solve but easy to fix. Can fuel lines separate and do this under the suction of the fuel pump?
This outboard repair stuff is more fun than work, and a lot more way cool, and the chicks...man...OK forget the last two but it is fun.:D

is the fuel tank vent line restricted?
try running with the gas cap loose/off.
