Hello,

I bought an older boat as a pass time project, in the process of cleaning up /repairing the engine and one of the exhaust manifold has a crack in it, it dosent look super bad, also looks like whom ever had the boat before tried to fix it.

(i removed most of the JB weld)

Would of taken better pictures but my camora battery was dead : / so used the phone, here's one more view of the same crack

Wondering if it would be fine to just remove the rest of the JB, grind down the extra metal from the last "repair" put some new metal there to seal up the manifold and call it good? assuming its not leaking, or just find a replacement that'll work?

Thanks for your time :)

JB weld only worked for me on 3 trips but ended up buying a good used set.

Trash.
Not worth the time you spent cleaning it off.
Toss them and replace....BOTH
