Hi

My 40 hp mariner 1982 model 6e9l 405360 would not crank over, so after some fault finding I discovered that the battery leads to solenoid/ starter were at fault so I removed the old leads and purchased new leads the problem is that there are 2 metal retaining brackets that bolt on ,one to the left of bottom carby and one that sits a bit to the right of the push pull choke for the life of me I cannot figure out which one goes where and how they are positioned, would someone please have a drawing of that area they can post, I should have took a picture before I removed them.

many thanks
