HI
Ive just brought an 06 bayliner 285 fited with a bravo 3 sterndrive. I`ve come across a problem fitting the annodes that someone might know how to sort. The boat is out of the water with the drive trimmed down . This means i cant get to annodes to fit them . Is there a way of putting the sterndrive in full up trim manually ???? Sorry for such a noob question ,but i`m learning .... Slowley ;)

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,...

Without trimmin' it up electrically, the best shot is pullin' the aft trim ram pin, 'n roping up the outdrive to a cleat, or cleats...

Isn't the drive going to be Pulled for Annual service, 'n inspection,..??

Why don't you just wait and change it when you bring it out of storage. It's only a 5 minute job.
It's not like the anodes are doing anything while the boat is out of the water.

Ayuh,... The Trim is usually wired independent of the Igntion...

You should be able to Just push the Up button....

So long as the batteries are hooked up, 'n charged...

Ive just learnt the joys of antifouling today , i`m as blue as papa smurf:D . I`m sure more should have gone on the hull :D

Yes And doent my wallet know it !!

It had been out of the water for 2.5 years (only 30 hours on it) . So all fluids, belts and plugs. New bellows and batteries . Also new bowThruster motor , also new extinguishers and co2 detectors on top o f transporting it across the country . Oh yeh and to cap it all its been really windy here and the cover has fallen apart , ?2500 for canvus and plastic:facepalm: .
The list goes on.
I feel quite sick now , i need a drink :D
