150 fitch. It is throwing codes 12 and 13. Checked wiring its good. Put a new tps sensor in today and still same codes and check engine light. Any advice on next steps. Have a tourney in 3 weeks

is the engine having an issue? if so it may be your emm. make sure its not over heating from lack of water flow. also make sure the green wire in the forward wire terminal (terminal closest to flywheel) is good and secured . and the black tpc ground is two wires under the green ,make sure that also is secured. you may also try to reset the emm and see if codes go away,that is if you are seeing codes and engine is running fine. my engine a 1999 115 ficht had code 12 but engine was running fine.had the emm reset and code went away. good luck .

What is the model number, there were a lot of different 150 FICHTS over the 9 years they were produced?

The only issue is that the check engine light and wont go above idle. New impeller and have checked wiring from tps to ecu. Replaced tps. The model is a 150ILECA.

Have a laptop put on it and see what kind of codes you have.

I did install a laptop and codes 12 and 13 were the hardcodes. But was able to figure out the issue. I needed to adjust the throttle cables. Once I adjusted per the manual light is out and engine runs normally.

Do you mean manual for the engine or for the codes. The engine I have a evinrude manual from work.
