Am looking for some place to go bass fishing east of the Mississippi to get away for a few days from this cold rainy weather.<br />Any reports out there?

Hello SBN.<br />Why don't you come up to upstate NY? I promise it won't rain ,it will snow.We can drill a hole through 2 feet of ice and it will be warmer under the ice than it is above,so the fishing should be good.<br />Nah just kidding, go south and enjoy.

I would invite ya to come fish with me me Spinner but we have to many Kentuckians here already <br /><br />Why don't you Wait til next month.. BubbaKat and I are hookn up towards the end of March to do some Gator Huntn..But he tells me that there are some nice Bass,just waiting to meet the Infamous SpinnerBait..

rolmops, thanks, but I had enough of that great state while trucking to last me a lifetime.<br /><br />gonfishn, I will be all tied up next month. A new deal with the paper company is coming up and they want me to be a part of it, so anything past March is ify at best.

Lester, Arkansas is west of the Mississippi, but still pretty close to Kentucky. You have an invite here anytime you want to come out this way. We have some awesome bass fishing out here on the hot lake, as well as crappie and trout at others.

Well the plan right now is to head to Bankhead sometime on the 20th(that night) and fish it a couple days and then head to Center Hill in Tn to meet up with gonfishn and bubba for a couple days and then on back home. Have to be home on Saturday.<br /><br />But you know what they say about well laid out plans.

i don't know about bubba but if you go in the boat with jeff bring body armer a helmet and a good life jacket

I am hooking up with Bubba on the 24th Spinner..Be great if ya could. If there are any folks here near Bubba try and come for a day..<br /><br />MuskyOne...I think you were referring to those who ride with you Joel.. Matter of fact rumor has it that Barlow now has decided to drive himself to the Homestead since I told some things(all True).<br /><br />I am a little worried now Spinner if ya know everything about me..I think there are some things in my past that the Statue of limitations has passed..

Heck Spinner - Lake Mendota is east of the Mississippi.. Great Smallmouth fishery! I know a few structures that aren't on any map that hold quality bronzebacks from post spawn to ice up.<br /><br />Ya might want to bring a jacket tho.. the mornings are a little nippy yet <br /><br />hey you two.. I've had so much precautionary advice on this trip I'm confussed if I'm going fishing, to a joust or a rally race
