been a overly mild nov. upstate... too bad I
pickled the boat in oct. :(
anyways, had an itch and took MY 6yr old up to
the point breeze break-wall to wet a line.
caught a 16lb salmon casting a mepps3 spinner!
LOL
after she got tired, I got to hand the pole to
MY boy and let him land her. polaroid moment 4
sure!
we let the fat mama continue upstream :)

M.Y.
Good for you and the kid.You can add a pile of steel head and browns to that if you hop over to Slaters Creek (Russel Power station)The perch are outdoing themselves in the north east arm of Keuka lake.Yesterday (with a big driftbag to slow us down ) we drifted there and in 20 feet of water, we caught about four dozen perch.the smallest was 11" and the biggest 14".There is a lot of fun to be had yet.
