I'm new to the south central pennsylvania area, but I have fished the susquehanna river a few times, near York, PA. Does anybody know of some good areas to fish on this part of the river?

I have fished the Duncannon / Marysville area with decent luck. I have heard the "powerplant" by york haven is great fishing. I've also heard that Brunners Island out by York is pretty good. I just got my own boat, so hopefully I will be able to test the hearsay out.

A good tip for fishing the Susquehana: Pick up this month's PA Fish & Game Magazine. It has some great information about fishing for bronzebacks and the up and coming trout opener.
