A brother is a fishing lure manufacturer in New Zealand.
His product is made of brass, either hexagonal rod (many different sizes, cut on a severe angle), or plate (pressed by a 40 ton press with a massive array of dies.)
The lures are silver , or black nickle, or...(I can't rememebr other options he does) plated.
They are powder coated....different colours, and sized stripes, and flecks, and all sorts of variations, making up a range of thousands of different options. Some are stamped with things like scales etc.
He is a manufacturer, and is in a very small town, he bought the butchers shop 30yrs back.
Has his factory at the back, and uses the old shop as a store front for any passing public.
Shop sales are small so he has pretty much made the shop front a bit of a museum of old rods, reels and gear, that has grown over the years.....people who know of him may, say when grandad dies and they are sorting out his belongings, instead of throwing or selling his gear, give it to my brother knowing he will only ever display it.

Anyway, seeing a lot of you are fishermen, thought these may brighten a cool spring day for you.

I'll put up some shots of all his old cars one day.

Cheers
Phillip

He dosn't sell 2nds in the shop....just uses the same packaging from 30yrs back.......wholesalers who purchase from him have them packaged under their label in their packaging.
This give a small idea of what he does.
Full range is probably 20 times bigger than this.

This is a range one wholsaler gets from him. Very old poster but he uses it to identify their orders

If you love what you're doing...it's not work. And he obviously loves what he's doing.

Nice stuff.
