Lived in the San Diego area (Encinitas) for 4 years...awesome fishing!!!! I caught my largest fish ever (mako shark)there. Feb is a tough month though, ling cod is what I usually targeted. Take a couple hour trip south down into Baja and you can hook up with sails, marlin, dorado, yellowtail, yellowfin, wahoo, barracuda...you name it and it is there. Mexican exchange rate is pretty good.
Anybody from the San Diego area???<br /><br />going to be out there in Feb. Wondering how is the fishing that time of year and what kind of fish is around then????
